Empower Youth Development League (E.Y.D.L.) is a youth organization serving students ages 6-18 with after-school and summer programs. We focus on education and enrichment, mentorship, athletics and post-secondary opportunities that will give our youth the tools needed to thrive in school and beyond.
Our mission at E.Y.D.L. is to ignite potential and empower the next generation through meaningful after-school experiences that develop character, curiosity, confidence, and community. We provide a safe and inspiring environment where youth can explore their interests, strengthen academic and life skills, and discover new opportunities through education and enrichment. Our programs include STEM-focused initiatives, tutoring, mentorship, athletics, and hands-on experiences such as our Youth Tech Fest, all designed to prepare young people for success in school, careers, and life. Through intentional programming and supportive relationships, E.Y.D.L. equips youth to lead, innovate, and thrive in their communities.
Coach Ant is the Owner and Founder of the Empower Youth Development League, a holistic After School Program. He also serves as the Head Freshman Boys’ Basketball Coach at Ferndale High School, his Alma Mater.
He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Mike Ilitch School of Business, at Wayne State University.
With a background in Business and Leadership, Coach Ant has spent the last five years helping people, youth especially, break through barriers, overcome self-doubt, and achieve lasting success.
Coach Ant enjoys being involved in the community, working with the youth, and has a passion for helping others transform their lives in a positive way.
E.Y.D.L. proudly hosts impactful events that expose youth to leadership, innovation, and future opportunities. Our Youth Empowerment Conference inspires young people through motivational speakers, interactive workshops, and leadership development experiences that build confidence and purpose. The Youth Technology Fest introduces students to STEM careers through hands-on learning, emerging technologies, and industry professionals, sparking curiosity and creativity. In addition, our College Expos connect youth and families with colleges, universities, and career resources, helping students explore academic pathways, scholarships, and postsecondary options while preparing for life beyond high school.
